Dr. Teressa Fulgham McCarty is the founder and CEO of McCarty Consulting, LLC, established in 2022 to help organizations turn great ideas into actionable strategies through planning, procedures, and training. In 2023, she became Chief Operating Officer of the Tougaloo College Research and Development Foundation (TCRDF). She also serves as a principal investigator for the SCALE HBCU Pilot for Radiation-Hardened Microelectronics, a leading U.S. program for semiconductor workforce development in the defense sector. Before founding McCarty Consulting and joining TCRDF, Dr. McCarty spent over a decade in public education as a teacher and administrator, where she led training programs, streamlined operations, mentored educators, and directed policy development and stakeholder engagement to enhance organizational impact. Dr. McCarty holds a Doctor of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction, an Education Specialist degree, and a Master of Education degree from Mississippi College. She completed her undergraduate studies at Tougaloo College, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications.
